MEDICAL ASSESSMENTS ROHS can undertake medical assessments for a whole range of needs. These will be carried out by the Occupational Health Physician or the Occupational Health Nurse Advisor. Medicals include:
· Pre-employment Medical Assessments To determine whether a person is suitable to be employed to undertake the duties outlined.
· Sickness Absence Assessments Companies can arrange for their employees to see the OH Physician for assessment regarding their sickness absence. GP Reports can be obtained. Full report issued to company.
· Return to Work Assessments OH Physician consultation with employees who have been signed off "fit t work" by their GP, bur require assessment of job description and ability to safely continue in their job role. Guidance to assist employees returning to work on graduated return programmes.
· Night Worker Health Assessments For proposed and/or current employees to identify any issues which may affect or preclude them from working at night.
· LGV Medical Assessments Doctor medical examination and assessment in conjunction with DVLC requirements.
· Lift Truck Driver Medical Assessments Medical for employees operating moving vehicles .
· Food Hygiene Medical Assessments A Health assessment at pre-employment would determine a person’s suitability to be employed under the Food Hygiene Regulations and to make employees aware of the importance of observing good personal/food hygiene practices.
· Hand-Arm Vibration Assessment In accordance with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, we can act as your "responsible person" and assist your employees in completing a questionnaire and referring on for medical advice, anyone who should disclose any signs and symptoms, which may be linked to Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome.
· Life Style Medical Assessment A private and confidential consultation between nurse and client to identify any possible health problems by carrying out Height/Weight Ratio, Body Mass Index, Cholesterol Check, Blood Pressure/Pulse Check and Urinalysis. Advice will be given on Breast Awareness, Testicular Self-examination, Alcohol, Diet, Smoking and Exercise.
· Statutory Appointed Doctor Medical Assessments Appointed Doctor medical assessments for employees working with Lead and Asbestos in accordance with their respective regulations.
