Occupational Health is a means of contributing to the promotion of a high degree of physical and mental health, and well being of people at work, assisting with the prevention of illness and injury, due to work undertaken or the working environment and providing assistance to reduce work-related health hazards. 

The Rochdale Occupational Health Service encourages management and employees to provide a positive health and safety culture, which requires collective interaction with each other to maintain successful health and safety management for the wellbeing of all people at work.
